4 Main Elements

  1. You need a header on every page to inform the viewer of the page exactly what they are looking at. The header should always be at the top of the page. The header should display either the title or topic of the page.

  2. If you have multiple pages on a site, you need a navigation bar so the viewer can easily move throughout the different pages of your website. The navigation bar is either on top of the body, on the left of the body, or on the right of the body. It is essential that it contains all the links to the other pages on your site.

  3. The body contains all of the main content for your page. The body is always in the center of the page, and is usually the biggest part of the page because it holds all the information that the viewers are looking at.

  4. The footer contains when that page was made and who created it. The footer is always at the bottom of the page. It is essential to the page because it is basically a signature of the web site maker.
